"The New Retirementality", Mitch Anthony
What will retirement look like for you? Have you even thought about it?
Mitch Anthony captures and explains a new paradigm shift in retirement. one that looks at the meaning of "living a full life". This book is incredibly eye-opening and dispels the stereotypes of older generations' views of retirement. The reality is that your retirement probably won't look anything like your parent's. His positive approach to achieving freedom to pursue your retirement goals and life passions - at your own pace, on your own terms - regardless of your age is exhilarating and inspiring. We have found his ideals to be completely congruent to our holistic approach to wealth management, incorporating advice for life. not just for money. Financial peace of mind and contentment has always been more than 'about the money'. Now Mitch Anthony has uncovered just how true that is and explains how you can discover it too. This is a must-read for baby boomers.

"The Ultimate Gift", Jim Stovall
This short book is an absolute pearl. I was so impressed by the underlying truths throughout this story that I gave a copy of the book
to each of my children and made sure that they read it. We all know that money can be the root of evil and breed the ugly and selfish
personality traits of greed and entitlement. But do we really appreciate and teach the deeper values of life, until perhaps it's too
late? This is a captivating story about how a self-made multi-millionaire who gave his family everything attempts to reverse his mistake
of giving money and material things through very unorthodox and powerful instructions in his will. He realized that by giving his family
unlimited material things, he robbed them of everything that had made his life wonderful. the happiness that comes from the gifts that
God has given us. Once you start this book, you won't put it down until you reach the end, and fortunately that doesn't take too long.
You'll enjoy and be motivated by the quest for purpose and meaning in an empty life. the ultimate gift. This book was even made into a
movie starring James Garner (Rockford Files), but I recommend the book instead.

"The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People", Stephen Covey
This is certainly not a new book. It was first published in 1990. Since that time, I've probably read it at least 3 times over and
referred to quotes and sections hundreds of times. To me, this is an all-time must read. Covey's lasting genius to me stems from the
fact that his values are full of integrity and humanity. The principles are easy to understand, but not so easy to apply. This is a
book that is very powerful and can truly be life changing. Covey has written several other books that are excellent as well
("Principle-Centered Leadership", "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families", "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Marriage", "The
8th Habit" and others), that are all extensions of this book. His son, Sean Covey, has also written a terrific book, "The 7 Habits of
Highly Effective Teens". Sean's book has a Personal Workbook and I've given both to my children. It's a great Christmas gift idea for
teenagers.
